Roggins asks, "Isn't 'client' a euphemism for 'inmate', in facilities like this?"

Sthiss says, "So I also vote for Clients."

inky says, "ok, yeah, if you want to take a breather you can try to remember some stuff"

Ghrehr says, "they're doing research on behalf of clients... hm."

inky says, "or you can keep on after Robinson"

Ghrehr says, "well this is where the CEO skulks around"

Ghrehr says, "clients means something else here"

Ghrehr asks, "and relaxation...?"

Sthiss says, "Either we're the clients, or those who had us placed here are the clients."

Sthiss says, "Either way, I am curious."

Roggins says, "Fair enough."

Ghrehr gets a creepy feeling up and down his spine

Sthiss looks for any medical charts by the beds, grabs the first one, and reads.

Zipf says, "At least we weren't *awake* when we were in here previously, I imagine. Or at any rate don't remember it."

Ghrehr says (to random gel person), "Hello? Are you conscious? Can you hear me?" bonk bonk

Roggins asks, "Ears. Why do they need tubes in their ears?"

Sthiss says (to Zi[f), "Indeed."

inky says (to Roggins), "they have the bodies of greek gods (or goddesses)"

inky says, "like, even the old people look exceptionally well"

Roggins says, "And they're in good shape, so they're presumably not using them to drain off their magical life force anything like that."

Ghrehr says, "Compliance? fie !"

Zipf says, "I suppose that must be our next port of call."

Sthiss says, "We are certainly low on compliance."

Roggins says, "So perhaps this is some sort of rejuvenation procedure they're undergoing."

[shadowrun] Ghrehr says, "I can't stand it any more, I have to slice something in two that makes a shower of sparks"

[shadowrun] Zipf says, "Ha ha."

Zipf says, "I suppose we could try waking one, but I feel like interrogating somebody who's already awake."

Roggins says, "Sure. I don't think any of these people will cause us much trouble if we leave them here for now."

Roggins asks, "Research next?"

Sthiss says, "Sure."

Roggins goes out and opens the next door.

Sthiss says, "And, sure, I'll go first."

Sthiss sweeps into Research. "Look sharp, I've brought in more guards to help out."

Sthiss says, "We're taking care of them now. But we need to be sure none of them disturbed the, hm, clients next door."

Sthiss says, "Give me a quick rundown on their status and what you've done with them today."

[shadowrun] Zipf says, "Although he may think you're supposed to be a robot."

[shadowrun] Roggins exclaims, "But he has legs!"

[shadowrun] Zipf asks, "Bah, who looks at orderlies or legs?"

inky says, ""I certainly hope not!" another says. "Our investors have put millions of nuyen in this project, and if your fumbling has wrecked that ...""

[shadowrun] Ghrehr raises his hand

[shadowrun] Ghrehr lowers it before Zipf cuts it off

[shadowrun] JonahStern says, "I feel this is going to end with me machine-gunning the room to atomar smithereens"

[shadowrun] inky says, "it appears Robinson is only in charge of up-top operations, but down here is a different branch"

[shadowrun] JonahStern asks, "or is that atomic?"

[shadowrun] Sthiss says, "not a bad solution"

[shadowrun] Ghrehr says, "I notice he waited until his partner Davidson was out of the country on vacation. or are they both in on it"

[shadowrun] Roggins says, "Maybe Davidson is the downstairs guy."

Sthiss says, "We just need to make sure that those hooligans up in the west wing didn't cause any problems."

[shadowrun] Sthiss says, "ooh, idea"

Zipf is casually guarding the door, listening for anyone approaching on the other side.

Sthiss says, "I don't want Davidson to come back and find anything out of place. You know how he is."

Roggins says, "If you want us to keep this place secure, I think we ought to know who these 'hooligans' we're dealing with *are*."

inky says, ""Ah, good -- those were the ones you brought in as a favor?""

Roggins looks to the scientists, since it'd obviously be foolish to expect Robinson to know what's going on.

Sthiss says, "You know how it is."

Sthiss says, "I'm going to go check with the guards. You men, stay here and make sure everything is under control."

Sthiss steps back out into the hallway.

[shadowrun] Sthiss says, "okay, now that I'm not there to not know stuff, you guys can pump them for info"

[shadowrun] Zipf asks, "Is that the same as 'full of bullets'?"

[shadowrun] Ghrehr says, "knowing who the invstors are would be good maye"

inky says (to Roggins), ""I suppose you want to know something about their capabilities if they escape? I'm afraid I can't really help much there, I just know Robinson there was holding them as a favor for an associate of his""

Ghrehr asks, "what's in that gel stuff?"

Ghrehr asks, "is it cherry flavored?"

inky says, ""He was supposed to see them disposed of, but it sounded like they would be useful additional subjects for us, so he was going to transition them downstairs""

Zipf asks, "Is it explosive?"

inky says, "The scientist sighs and does that jerky-scientist-explaining-to-laypeople thing"

Zipf says, "I merely ask in case we have to use lethal force in the event of an attack."

Sthiss, in the hallway, pulls out his phone and checks to see if he has service.

Roggins asks (of Scientists), "So I'm going to guess those thugs were a team of runners that someone here sent to mess this place up?"

[shadowrun] Sthiss says, "once we're back up top I'll call for the limo"

Zipf signals with his eyebrows, maybe we should just beat these guys up a bit?

[shadowrun] Sthiss says, "I'm already farther from firepower than I like to be"

JonahStern says, "I like books. Listen to them all the time."

Roggins says, "You guys must not have very powerful enemies, if that's the best team they could deliver."

inky says, "The scientist shrugs. "Conceivably. They were brought in from elsewhere, like I said, Robinson doing a favor for an associate.""

Ghrehr asks, "what implants are the clients getting?"

[shadowrun] Roggins asks, "Hmm. So I guess our reason for being here is probably something like, 'we failed some completely unrelated job, and instead of killing us, our enemies asked Robinson to drug us and throw us in a poorly-guarded room'?"

Ghrehr ponders dragging Robinson along as a bargaining chip, or just stun-batonning him so he doesn't get in the way for a while

Zipf destroys the machine the lady was in. This process involves a shower of sparks as well as other special effects.

Ghrehr says, "screw it. I need to get back to the others"

Roggins says (to Zipf), "Yeah, it seems like these guys can't *all* be coming in through Robinson's office."

Ghrehr says, "was there an elevator? or it was just an elevator like shaft"

[shadowrun] Roggins asks, "Is the woman still just standing there dazed?"

Zipf asks (of Roggins), "I admire your interrogation technique. I wonder if Mr Robinson knows of another exit?"

Ghrehr says, "too late, I stunned him"

Sthiss orders the spirit to find an exit that isn't through Robinson's office.

Ghrehr says, "if he knew of an exit he would have taken it instead of hiding in a porn booth"

Sthiss says, "The spirit of this place will tell us how to leave."

JonahStern says, "but he'S the upstairs dude"
