Cast of Characters

Here's a list of characters people have submitted so far. Do note that I've been having fun making connections between people that will be revealed in play, so if your idea for a character doesn't seem to fit, let me play with it a bit and see what I can do. Just be sure to give yourself some sort of motivation or hook; the backgrounds can be a source of inspiration here, but don't limit yourself to them.

First up: Charles Algun (played by Jota). The first of our returning characters, Charles is an Avalonian sailor with a bit of magic in him from his mother's side. His father (a Castillian captain) was killed by a Montaignian captain named "Lavache" under a white flag. Charles has vowed revenge.

Second: Pyotr Ivanovich (played by katre). An axe-weilding scary-looking backwoods hunter from Ussura, he was forced to leave years ago when a boyar's son was killed in a bar fight. He has returned...but not too close to the boyar's realm. Spent some time underground with Charles and Era (below).

Third: Era Khar'Kov (played by Sara, my wife). A shape-shifting Ussuran noble, who left in search of adventure a year or so ago, joined up with Sophie's Daughters (shhh!) and is now still in Eisen at the end of her last adventure.

Fourth: The first of our new characters, Raelynn Teresa DuVille played by Duchess. A diminutive scholar from Montaigne who just so happens to be rather good with a knife, and is on the run because she looks too much like Fleur, the erstwhile daughter of a Montaignian noble named Gerard du Arrent.

Fifth and Sixth are Sebastien (inky) and Alixandre/Alexeij (Sargent). Both are Montaignian diplomats, though neither are from Montaigne--Sebastien is from Castille and Alexeij from Ussura. Both got in trouble recently and were sent to a backwater diplomatic post in Ussura.

Seventh is "Vasili, joining for Season 2. A Ussuran 'street rat', and an old friend of Pyotr's. Had joined the riff-raff army marching against Tamara on a lark, but joined with the loyalists in the end. Joined up with the group partly out of curiosity, partly out of gratitude for being rescued from jail.
