The story so far:  

You are all on your way to Pavtlow (the capitol of all Ussura) for a few 
different reasons.  The fops have been asked to help negotiate peace 
between the invading Montaigne armies (under Montegue) and the Gaius Ilya 
(ruler of Ussura).  Raelynn and Era, as members of Sophia's Daughters, 
have been asked to help Tamara v'Rissanova (ruler of the Gallenian 
province, and whose live you saved) induct the Gaius Ilya's wife Ketheryna 
(an Eisen-born woman) into the Sophia's Daughters, and to help her 
continue to hide the fact that she has been granted Pyeryem by Matushka.  
Charles is now a member of Tamara's spies, and hopes to get info on 
LaVache from the navy supporting Montegue.  Pyotr is trying to clear his 
name, and hopes to talk to Borin v'Pscov, ruler of Somojez, his home 
province.  Vasili is sort of along for the ride, but has recently found 
out that he too seems to be wanted by the Somojez Tyomny.  (Dak is also 
with you as members of a group that was after V. and P. to try to prove 
himself as worthy to join the Tyomny; he now hopes to prove himself worthy 
when he meets Borin himself.)  As if this wasn't enough, Raelynn has also 
been told to talk to Koshchei the Undying (Knias of Molhyna, though not 
its day-to-day ruler) about magic.

At the present, you are in the village of Kuniew, near Mt. Ostrog, and had 
found the site at the base of the mountain where you fought a bunch of 
giant bugs in the distant past.  Palech is also here.  Vasili and Pyotr 
have 2 dramatic wounds from frostbite from dancing with the Snow Maidens, 
and Charles has 3.  Fortunately, Raelynn's own dance with a Snow Youth 
impressed them enough that they left before consuming you entirely.  The 
youth promised that you would meet again after he had trained to be a 
better dancer, and the contest would continue.
