Vasili, Ussuran Street Rat (No, not exactly a "diamond in the rough".)

On his own, age 20, and never has the resources for more than a week's worth of
food at one time.  He gets by on a combination of scrounging, charity, and a
knack for making friends with hospitable people.  Vas has some sense of ethics,
but often his own interests just plain come first.  When adventure comes along,
he doesn't need much encouragement to get swept up in it....

Hubris:         -10
 Hedonistic.  Vas can't always be trusted to keep his word when the
 alternatives sound like more fun.  And he's passed up a few rare chances to
 make something more of his life which would have just required too much
 seriousness.
